Sydney turned 6 months old on April 1st. She now weighs in at 15 1/2 pounds, in the 50th percentile, and is 27 inches tall, in the 90th percentile! She is doing fantastic and has continued to be a happy baby. We are still blessed with a little over 11 hours of sleep a night, and now she is taking about 3-4 naps a day. We really have no complaints. She is working on crawling...she gets her little doopa up in the air and then doesn't know what to do from there! She is also trying to master sitting up by herself. Sydney loves to talk, or sometimes preferably scream in a high pitch tone that makes your brain rattle. She loves story time and singing "If you're happy and you know it...".
It is exciting to see the constant changes. And she sure does know how to warm your heart by giving you a big smile...or make you laugh when she is staring at you like you are the dumbest person around! (I thought that was saved for the teenage years??!!!)
She looks like she has no neck in this picture, but she's cute.
Meeting her Uncle Lawrence for the first time. He came up from Reno to visit for a week.
"I have a third uncle? Really?"
"I guess I can handle that."
